Miracle Software Systems - IT Security Consultant - Vulnerability Management

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT #Security_consultant to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for proactively monitoring security alerts, managing incidents, overseeing vulnerability management processes, and supporting a wide range of enterprise risk and cybersecurity initiatives.

This role requires strong analytical skills, technical acumen, and a collaborative approach to strengthen the organizations security posture.

Key Responsibilities :

- SIEM and other monitoring tools.

- Correlate logs and events across systems to identify suspicious activity.

- Investigate and escalate incidents as required, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Security Incident Management & Remediation :

- Respond to security incidents, coordinate remediation efforts, and perform root cause analysis.

- Maintain and enhance incident response processes and documentation.

Vulnerability Management :

- Coordinate vulnerability scanning and assessment activities.

- Work with system owners to track and remediate vulnerabilities in a timely manner.

- Security Monitoring During Weekend Hours Participate in an on-call rotation for weekend alert triage and escalation support as needed.

Enterprise Technology Risk Management :

- Contribute to risk assessments and help track mitigation plans for identified technology risks.
