As a QA Engineer Salesforce Commerce Cloud, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test strategies to ensure quality across SFCC/SFRA applications. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to identify issues early and maintain high product standards. You will also play a key role in improving automation coverage, optimizing test frameworks, and ensuring that all releases meet functional and performance expectations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/SFRA) implementations.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across multiple environments.
- Validate SFRA storefronts, pipelines, controllers, ISML templates, and integrations with third-party APIs or services.
- Work closely with development teams to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects in issue-tracking systems such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with automation teams to enhance test automation coverage and CI/CD integration.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent customer experience across platforms.
- Validate data flows, payment gateways, catalog management, and order lifecycle processes within SFCC.
- Ensure that all code deployments meet performance and stability benchmarks before release.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups as part of an Agile team.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 5- 10 years of professional QA experience, with 3+ years in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) projects.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce business processes, checkout flows, payment integrations, and OMS (Order Management Systems).
- Experience in functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Working knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, WebDriverIO, or TestNG.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Proficiency in defect management tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar).
- Knowledge of SFCC Business Manager, cartridges, and pipeline/controller testing.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON/XML formats.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong attention to detail.
