Description :

We are looking for an experienced Migration Consultant for a freelance engagement to support the end-to-end migration of workloads from AWS to OCI. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in cloud migrations, container orchestration, and database transitions across NoSQL and SQL environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and execute AWS to OCI migration for applications, databases, and services.

- Assess existing AWS architecture and design scalable, secure OCI target environments.

- Migrate and optimize DynamoDB workloads to OCI-compatible alternatives.

- Manage database migrations involving Postgres DB, including schema conversion, data transfer, and performance tuning.

- Deploy, scale, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth cutover, testing, and post-migration stabilization.

- Provide technical documentation, best practices, and migration runbooks.

Required Skills :

- Proven experience in AWS to OCI migration (must-have).

- Hands-on expertise with DynamoDB and Postgres DB.

- Strong experience with Kubernetes for deployment, orchestration, and scaling.

- Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and automation.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
