Role Overview :

We are seeking highly skilled Azure Data Engineers with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric to design, implement, and optimize modern data platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Fabric capabilities, its integration with Power BI, Synapse, and Azure-native services, along with experience in Medallion architecture and Lakehouse/Warehouse implementations.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Understand difference between Fabric and other Azure native services.

- Difference between Fabric vs Power BI, Fabric vs Synapse.

- Understand Medallion architecture.

- Implemented Lakehouse & Warehouse with ingestion using Dataflows \ pipelines.

- Monitor & understand Fabric capacity & utilization.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Design :

- Analyze and articulate the differences between Microsoft Fabric and other Azure-native data services.

- Compare and contrast Fabric vs Power BI and Fabric vs Synapse for solution design decisions.

- Apply Medallion architecture principles (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) for data organization and quality management.

Implementation & Development :

- Design and implement Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions using Microsoft Fabric.

- Develop and configure data ingestion workflows using Dataflows, Pipelines, and other Fabric ingestion tools.

- Integrate multiple data sources (structured, semi-structured, unstructured) into Fabric environments.

Optimization & Monitoring :

- Monitor and manage Fabric capacity and utilization to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.

- Implement best practices for performance tuning, scaling, and cost optimization in Fabric.

Collaboration & Delivery :

- Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and reporting teams to ensure the platform meets analytical needs.

- Document solutions, architecture, and workflows for maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Good to Have :

- Knowledge of Data Mesh and modern data governance frameworks.

- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Azure Data Lake.

- Familiarity with security best practices in Fabric.

- Azure certifications (e.g., DP-500, DP-203).
