About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Architect / Modeler who will lead the design, modeling, and optimization of enterprise-level data solutions. This role demands deep technical expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure ecosystem, and advanced data modeling methodologies, as well as strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling complex data architecture challenges, implementing robust data pipelines, and enforcing data governance & security best practices in large-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end data architecture and modeling efforts using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Fabric Data Pipeline

- Develop dimensional, relational, and data warehouse models including OLAP cube design for analytical workloads

- Implement ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data integration from multiple sources into cloud-based storage and analytics platforms

- Optimize SQL, DAX, and other query languages for high-performance reporting and analytics

- Design and enforce data governance policies, including metadata management, data quality, and security protocols

- Integrate solutions with Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure services for scalable cloud data management

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex modeling, security, and performance issues in a timely manner

- Collaborate with BI developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions

- Stay updated with emerging trends in data architecture, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure ecosystem to propose innovative improvements

- Ensure alignment of all solutions with enterprise security and compliance frameworks

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10-12 years of total experience in data architecture, modeling, and analytics

- Must-have : Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Fabric Data Pipeline, and Azure Data Factory (or similar tools)

- Strong proficiency in SQL & DAX

- Deep knowledge of dimensional modeling, relational databases, OLAP cubes, and data warehouse architecture

- Experience designing and deploying ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data integration

- Cloud expertise with Microsoft Azure and related services (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database)

- Proven ability to handle data governance, security, and compliance requirements in cloud environments

- Agile project experience, collaborating with cross-functional technical and business teams

- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills for complex technical challenges

- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and technical documentation

Work Mode & Location Details :

- Hybrid : 2-3 days/week from office (Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Noida)

- Remote : Possible for candidates based in above-listed Accion cities (occasional travel to office e.g., monthly client/team meetings or asset collection)
