We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) Technical Consultant to join a long-term engagement within a global consulting environment. This full-time, onsite role is based in Hyderabad, and is part of a growing delivery team supporting business-critical projects under Managed Application Services (MAS).

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strong technical acumen, ERP implementation knowledge, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. You will be responsible for maintaining Dynamics 365 environments, troubleshooting and enhancing core modules, and customizing enterprise-level ERP solutions to meet evolving client requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop technical solutions using Microsoft D365 F&O functions, features, and integrations to support evolving business requirements.

- Handle code merging and promotion using Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Lifecycle Services (LCS).

- Perform environment management activities including deployment of cloud-hosted and Microsoft-managed environments, applying platform updates, and troubleshooting environment-related issues.

- Support legacy and hybrid scenarios by handling AX 2012 environment refreshes, server restarts, and code promotions.

- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and customize workflows accordingly using X++, SSRS reports, and system configuration tools.

- Work closely with US-based client teams to support remote troubleshooting, production incidents, and ticket resolutions.

- Participate in technical documentation (TDDs, IDDs) and ensure all deliverables meet project timelines and standards.

- Learn and adopt emerging Microsoft technologies like Power Platform and Azure services to enhance solution capabilities.

- Engage in continuous improvement of ticketing systems, code quality, and DevOps pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum of 4 years of technical experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&SC).

- Proven hands-on expertise with X++, .NET / C#, SQL Server, SSRS, and Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, branching, and merging).

- Solid experience with Microsoft LCS - deploying and refreshing environments, code deployment, and monitoring tools.

- Practical understanding of ERP processes such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, and Retail POS.

- Exposure to AX 2012 maintenance tasks and migration scenarios is highly desirable.

- Strong problem-solving skills in production environments, including performance tuning and bug fixing.

- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Azure Boards for daily updates and client support.

- Ability to collaborate with US-based teams and provide occasional evening or weekend support.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Microsoft certifications such as MB-300, MB-500, or MB-310 are a plus.

- Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) or Azure Functions is advantageous.

- Prior experience in a Managed Services or Support+Enhancement delivery model preferred.

- Familiarity with SQL tuning and monitoring tools for large enterprise systems is considered an asset.
