Microsoft Data Architect - Azure Fabric & Synapse Analytics

Description :

- Architect and manage Azure Synapse Analytics (Dedicated & Serverless SQL pools).

- Build and optimize data ingestion pipelines using ADF / Fabric Data Pipelines.

- Design data lakes, lakehouse, and warehouse solutions on Azure.

- Implement data modeling (star/snowflake schemas) for analytics and BI.

- Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL, APIs, SaaS, on-prem).

- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance (RBAC, Purview, encryption).

- Optimize performance, cost, and scalability of data solutions.

- Enable reporting using Power BI (Direct Lake, Semantic Models).

- Collaborate with business, analytics, and engineering teams.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years in Data Engineering / Data Architecture.

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.

- Expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics.

- Experience with Azure Data Factory / Fabric Pipelines.

- Strong knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, and data modeling.

- Experience with Power BI, semantic models, and performance tuning.

- Knowledge of Azure Data Lake Gen2, OneLake.

- Understanding of data security, governance, and Azure best practices.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Azure Purview / Microsoft Purview.

- Exposure to Databricks or Spark.

- Azure certifications (DP-203, Fabric, or Architect level).

- Experience in large-scale enterprise data platform.-
