We are seeking an experienced Micro Focus MFES Administrator with strong expertise in Linux version 9 to manage, support, and optimize MFES environments in a large-scale enterprise setting.
The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Micro Focus Enterprise Server (MFES) on Linux platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, and maintain Micro Focus Enterprise Server (MFES) on Linux v9.
- Perform upgrades, patch management, and system optimizations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, ensuring high availability and system stability.
- Manage integrations with enterprise applications and tools.
- Work closely with development, operations, and support teams to ensure smooth deployments and efficient runtime environments.
- Maintain documentation and implement automation for routine administrative tasks.
- Ensure system security, compliance, and backup/recovery procedures.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 10+ years of total IT experience, with at least 5+ years in MFES administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux (preferably RHEL 9).
- In-depth knowledge of COBOL, Mainframe modernization, and MF Enterprise Server configurations.
- Experience in performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting MFES environments.
- Familiarity with Micro Focus Enterprise Developer is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
