As a Senior Product Architect for Mico Engage AI, you will own the architectural vision and execution of a highly scalable, data-intensive platform powering personalized marketing at scale.
Reporting To The VP of Engineering, You Will Lead System Design, Collaborate Cross-functionally, And Mentor Engineering Teams To Build a Resilient, AI-enabled Multi-channel Engagement Platform Ready For Global Architect scalable, fault-tolerant, event-driven systems for multi-channel delivery (LINE, WhatsApp, Email, SMS, RCS) at 10,000+ TPS.
Responsibilities :
- Lead design and rollout of a horizontally scalable, real-time customer segmentation engine integrating behavioral and profile data.
- Build a unified customer profile infrastructure, consolidating multi-source data with real-time identity stitching and consent management.
- Collaborate with data science teams to integrate AI/ML models into production workflows, including feature stores, model deployment, and inference orchestration.
- Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and observability (using tools like NewRelic, Sentry, CloudWatch) for operational excellence.
- Mentor and guide engineering leads and teams in architectural best practices, cloud-native design, and scalable system development.
- Partner with product managers and GTM teams to align architectural decisions with business goals and global rollout strategies.
- Own system maintenance strategies, SLAs, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and roadmap to support product growth.
- Architect and implement cloud-native, scalable systems primarily on AWS, leveraging services such as Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Aurora MySQL, SQS, CloudWatch, IAM, and more.
- Design and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK) integrated with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Amplify Hosting.
- Demonstrated experience in horizontal scaling, load balancing, and cost-optimized resource management for high-throughput distributed systems.
- Build and manage observability and monitoring frameworks to ensure proactive detection and rapid resolution of issues, utilizing tools such as NewRelic, Sentry, CloudWatch, or equivalents.
- Define and enforce system reliability and maintenance practices, including SLAs, SLIs, incident management, disaster recovery strategies, and automated runbooks.
What You Will Achieve In 6-12 Months :
- Deliver a scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient architecture supporting 10,000+ TPS with low latency.
- Roll out a real-time segmentation engine, reducing campaign trigger delays by at least 50%.
- Integrate AI/ML pipelines into key production use cases, improving campaign targeting and personalization.
- Achieve 95%+ observability coverage across critical systems for proactive issue detection.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships and mentor technical leads to raise team capability.
- Deliver a clear architectural roadmap aligned with global growth and product vision.
Requirments :
- 15+ years of software architecture experience designing scalable, event-driven distributed systems with large transactional and behavioral data loads.
- Deep expertise with AWS cloud services (Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Aurora, SQS) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK).
- Proven experience in architecting customer data platforms, real-time segmentation, or large-scale data pipelines.
- Experience building multi-channel messaging platforms with high throughput and fault tolerance.
- Hands-on development experience in TypeScript/Node.js (Nest.js ), React/Next.js, and CI/CD tooling.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML system lifecycle integration and production deployment pipelines.
- Expertise in designing for observability, proactive monitoring, and incident management.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices (GDPR, CCPA) and cloud security mechanisms (AWS Cognito, IAM).
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills working with cross-cultural, distributed teams.
- Cloud architecture and operations expertise.
- Familiarity with the LGTM stack (Linux, Git, Terraform, Monitoring) or equivalent operational excellence frameworks to support cloud infrastructure.
- Experience collaborating closely with DevOps/SRE teams to ensure smooth production deployments, continuous improvements, and scalable.
- Experience with global-scale, multi-region, multi-tenant system architectures.
- Familiarity with streaming analytics, feature stores, and AI model operationalization.
- Prior leadership in scaling SaaS products globally with a focus on customer engagement or marketing tech.
- Comfortable mentoring and upskilling technical teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience designing products or architectures in marketing technology (Martech), customer engagement, or campaign management domains.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing workflows, multi-channel messaging, customer segmentation, and personalization best practices.
- Familiarity with marketing KPIs, campaign analytics, and reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of compliance and privacy issues affecting customer data in marketing contexts.
