MERNPLUS Technologies - Senior React.js Developer - Javascript/TypeScript

We are hiring a Senior React JS Developer to join a critical digital product team at a leading US-based bank.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor (IC) role requiring expertise in React-based frontend engineering for enterprise-grade applications.

Candidates must have experience building secure, scalable, and responsive UIs using modern JavaScript stacks and be comfortable integrating RESTful services in a CI/CD environment.

ReactJS (v16+) :

- Should have independently delivered production-grade SPAs using React functional components and hooks.

- Must manage component lifecycle, conditional rendering, dynamic routing, and error boundaries without supervision.

JavaScript (ES6+) :

- Must demonstrate mastery in ES6+ features such as destructuring, arrow functions, promises, async/await, and object spread/rest syntax.

- Should be able to debug complex asynchronous flows and handle DOM event propagation.

TypeScript :

- Should be able to define typed interfaces, props, and function signatures.

- Depth in generics or advanced type inference is not mandatory. Candidate should have delivered features in a TS-based codebase.

HTML5/CSS3 :

- Should be able to create fully responsive UI layouts using Flexbox and CSS Grid. Must demonstrate use of semantic HTML5 tags, media queries, and browser compatibility handling.

Material UI (v4/v5) :

- Should have used MUI theming, grid system, typography, and responsive components.

- Must know how to apply basic custom themes or override styles using the sx prop or makeStyles. Deep internal component design is not expected.

Redux or Context API :

- Must have used Redux for global state management or Context API for scoped state.

- Knowledge of store setup, reducer handling, and action dispatching is required. Middleware usage or store architecture design is not mandatory.

REST API Integration :

- Should be proficient in consuming RESTful APIs using fetch or axios, managing async calls, headers, and basic error handling.

- Should understand handling of auth tokens like JWT/OAuth in API flows.

CI/CD (Frontend awareness) :

- Should understand how front-end apps are built and deployed via Git/Jenkins/GitHub Actions.

- Must have raised PRs, handled branch merges, and participated in releases. Creating pipeline scripts is not mandatory.
