MERN Stack Developer - React.js/Node.js

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs to support application functionalities.

- Ensure high-quality UI/UX by developing pixel-perfect front-end applications.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices.

- Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and mentor junior developers as required.

- Work in Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in daily standups and sprint planning.

- Collaborate with the DevOps team for CI/CD pipelines and deployments.

Required Skills :

- Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.

- Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.

- Hands-on experience in creating and consuming RESTful APIs and working with GraphQL (preferred).

- Familiarity with database design and optimization in MongoDB.

- Knowledge of version control tools like Git, GitHub, or GitLab.

- Experience with UI frameworks like Material-UI, Bootstrap, or similar.

- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and cloud services like AWS is a plus.

- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and working in team environments.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in integrating third-party services like payment gateways, analytics, etc.

- Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or similar.

- Basic knowledge of microservices architecture is an added advantage.
