MERN Stack Developer - Node.js/React.js

Role Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and passionate MERN Stack Developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for developing scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll out new features that deliver on our product vision.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop responsive, high-performing, and reusable front-end components using ReactJS (with Hooks and Redux)

- Build robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs using NodeJS and ExpressJS, Integrate frontend and backend components seamlessly

- Work with MongoDB for database design, indexing, and optimization

- Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, grooming, and retrospectives

- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack

- Optimize performance, implement security protocols, and maintain data integrity

- Write and maintain unit/integration tests for high code quality

- Maintain clear documentation and contribute to continuous improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 2- 4 years of hands-on experience with the full MERN stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS, NodeJS)

- Strong in JavaScript (ES6+), ReactJS (with Hooks), and state management using Redux/Redux Toolkit

- Experience building RESTful APIs and working with JSON

- Comfortable with version control systems (e.g., Git)

- Understanding of CI/CD workflows and Agile development practices

- Familiarity with MongoDB aggregation pipelines, indexing, and performance tuning

- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and preprocessors like SASS/LESS

- Good problem-solving and communication skills

Good to Have :

- Experience with TypeScript

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment pipelines

- Experience with Microservices architecture

- Knowledge of ElasticSearch integration

- Familiarity with Jest, Mocha, or other testing frameworks
