Job Summary :

We are actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated MERN Stack Developer with 5+ years of experience for our offshore team in Chennai.

This is an immediate joining opportunity for a developer who is proficient in building scalable and high-performance web applications using the MERN stack.

You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless integration and robust functionality.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack.

- Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, Hooks, React Router).

- Build and maintain robust and scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.

- Design and manage databases using MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.

- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.

- Perform thorough testing, debugging, and optimization of applications to ensure high performance and reliability.

- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.

- Stay updated with the latest web technologies and MERN stack advancements.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Qualifications :

Required :

- 5+ years of professional experience in MERN stack development.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

- Expertise in React.js (including Hooks, Context API, Redux/MobX, React Router) and related front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/LESS, Tailwind CSS).

- Extensive experience with Node.js and Express.js for building scalable backend services.

- Solid understanding of MongoDB (schema design, aggregation, indexing, Mongoose ORM).

- Experience with RESTful API design, development, and consumption.

- Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.

- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and promises.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in an offshore model.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English.

Preferred :

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment strategies.

- Experience with containerization (Docker).

- Knowledge of other databases (e., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Experience with GraphQL.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

- Exposure to microservices architecture.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
