Role Overview :

As a QA Manual Tester at Merlin AI, you will be a critical member of our engineering team, ensuring the quality and reliability of our AI-powered platform. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and documenting test cases to identify defects and ensure that our software meets the highest standards of performance and usability. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences. Your work will directly impact the satisfaction of our users and the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product specifications and user stories to ensure thorough test coverage.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing to identify software defects and inconsistencies.

- Conduct performance testing to evaluate the speed, stability, and scalability of our platform.

- Execute API testing to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of our APIs.

- Utilize defect/bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira) to accurately report, track, and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve identified defects, ensuring timely resolution.

- Participate in test design reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality and effectiveness of test plans.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies to enhance the overall quality of our software.

Required Skillset :

- 3 to 5 years of experience in Manual Testing.

- Demonstrated ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, ensuring thorough test coverage.

- Understanding any coding languages (Java/Python, etc.,)

- Proven expertise in performing various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and API testing.

- Proficient in using defect/bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira) to accurately report, track, and manage defects.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
