About the Role :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing. This role supports the development of our AI-first platform, and we are looking for someone who is both technically strong and eager to leverage AI tools to improve productivity, code quality, and test automation.
The ideal candidate brings a strategic approach to test planning, an automation-first mindset, and a strong grasp of quality assurance practices. Your work will be essential in ensuring reliable, scalable, and high-quality product releases.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios across product features
- Execute manual and automated test cycles, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using modern issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to the teams automation strategy, including tool selection, test coverage goals, and continuous test improvement
- Perform a variety of testing activities, including :
1. Functional testing
2. Regression testing
3. Performance and stress testing
4. Integration and system testing
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to align on requirements and ensure release quality
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, and support a culture of quality and continuous improvement
Required Skills and Experience :
- 3 to 5 years of experience in QA within a product or platform engineering team
- Strong foundation in test design, execution, and reporting
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks
- Understanding of automation strategy and best practices
- Proficient in bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Issues
- Solid grasp of software testing methodologies, quality metrics, and test coverage techniques
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills
Nice to Have :
- Experience in healthcare, digital health, or other regulated environments
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST-assured
- Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust
- Working knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines
Location : Bangalore, India
Travel : <10% (locally and internationally)
