Mechispike - DevOps Engineer - AWS/Azure

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and implementation of the AWS EKS architecture for replicating an existing IIoT environment currently hosted on Azure.

- Oversee provisioning and management of onsite and AWS environments, including ECR, EKS clusters, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Collaborate with teams to review and port existing Azure-based deployments to AWS, implementing feature flags and corresponding AWS API integrations.

- Support telemetry and logging pipelines related to IoT data on AWS.

- Provide operational support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and product launch phases.

- Work closely with IoT teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of DevOps experience with strong focus on cloud-native architectures.

- Expertise with AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and related container technologies.

- Experience with AWS ECR (Elastic Container Registry) and CI/CD pipeline tools.

- Proven experience migrating workloads from Azure to AWS environments.

- Strong knowledge of IoT telemetry and logging data management.

- Familiarity with feature flag implementation and AWS API integrations.

- Experience supporting UAT and launch activities in complex projects.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Prior experience with Industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions and telemetry data pipelines.

- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, etc.

- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
