MDM Engineer - Java/J2EE

Job Title : Senior MDM Developer (Java/J2EE)

Job Summary :

- Develop and maintain Infosphere MDM Advanced Edition v11.x solutions.

- Work with Java/J2EE stack to support integration, customization, and enhancements of MDM solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in development, support, and maintenance projects.

- Handle Fail & Fix and ongoing production support activities, ensuring quick turnaround and stability.

- Implement and follow CI/CD and other software engineering best practices.

- Serve as a direct client-facing technical resource, participating in requirement discussions, issue

resolution, and ongoing improvements.

- Provide after-hours on-call support as needed, with flexibility and responsiveness.

- Document technical processes, support resolutions, and operational guides.

Required Skills :

- 6+ years of Java/J2EE hands-on development experience.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Infosphere MDM Advanced Edition v11.

- Good understanding of MDM architecture, data modeling, and entity/data stewardship.

- Experience with development and support models in enterprise-grade applications.

- Strong problem-solving skills in production environments and ability to manage client escalations.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.)

- Excellent communication skills, especially in client-facing roles.

Good To Have :

- Banking or financial domain knowledge.

- Exposure to Web Services (REST/SOAP) and data integration.

- Understanding of Data Quality, Data Governance concepts.

- Experience with WebSphere Application Server or WebLogic.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
