About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled MDM Consultant (SAP Master Data) to join our team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Master Data Management (MDM) processes, governance, and data lifecycle management.

You will play a critical role in driving master data strategy, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across business systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage end-to-end SAP Master Data Management (MDM) processes including data modeling, validation, migration, and governance.

- Lead data migration and data load activities, ensuring data quality and alignment with business rules.

- Collaborate with business and IT teams to define and enforce data governance frameworks and best practices.

- Design and implement data cleansing, harmonization, and enrichment processes.

- Analyze and resolve master data issues related to SAP systems.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for data integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.

- Participate in workshops with business stakeholders to identify and document MDM requirements.

- Support ongoing MDM enhancements, maintenance, and performance optimization.

- Act as a key liaison for clients, ensuring smooth communication and delivery of MDM solutions.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP Master Data Management (MDM).

- Strong understanding of SAP MDM architecture, data models, and integration with SAP ECC/S/4HANA.

- Proven experience in data migration, data load, and data governance processes.

- Experience with MDG (Master Data Governance) is a strong plus.

- Familiarity with data quality tools and workflow configuration within SAP MDM.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Proven client-facing experience and ability to work in onsite/offshore delivery models.

- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with SAP MDG implementation projects.

- Knowledge of data integration tools (e.g, SAP Data Services, Informatica, etc.

- Exposure to cloud-based MDM solutions or S/4HANA Master Data management.

- SAP certification in MDM/MDG is a plus
