Job description :

The Product MDM Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing Informatica Product 360 (PIM/MDM) solutions to support enterprise-wide master data management. The role requires strong architecture, data modeling, integration, and domain expertise across product, supply chain, distribution, and warehouse ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Design :

- Define end-to-end MDM architecture using Informatica Product 360 / MDM.

- Design canonical data models, hierarchies, relationships, and survivorship rules for Product data.

- Establish MDM reference architecture, scalability, and performance standards.

Informatica MDM Implementation :

Lead configuration and customization of :

- Informatica Product 360

- Informatica MDM Hub

- Informatica IDQ (Data Quality)

- Informatica PowerCenter / IICS

- Design workflows for data onboarding, enrichment, governance, and syndication.

- Implement match/merge, validation, and data quality rules.

Integration & Ecosystem :

Design and oversee integrations with :

- ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics)

- Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Distribution systems

- Downstream consumer systems (e-commerce, analytics, reporting)

- Enable API-based and batch integrations.

Governance & Operating Model :

- Define MDM governance frameworks, stewardship models, and operating processes.

- Partner with business stakeholders to align data ownership and accountability.

- Ensure compliance with data standards, security, and regulatory requirements.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management :

- Act as solution authority for Product MDM initiatives.

- Guide and mentor MDM developers, data engineers, and analysts.

- Work closely with business, IT, and external partners to drive adoption.

Required Skills & Experience :

Mandatory :

- 10-15+ years overall IT experience with 5+ years in Informatica MDM architecture

Strong hands-on experience with :

i. Informatica Product 360 / MDM Hub

ii. Data modeling (logical & physical)

iii. Master data governance and stewardship

iv. Experience in Product, Supply Chain, Distribution, or Warehouse domains

Strong understanding of :

i. Match & merge strategies

ii. Data quality frameworks

iii. Hierarchies, attributes, and reference data

Preferred / Good to Have :

- Experience with Oracle, SAP, or MS Dynamics ecosystems

- Exposure to IBM Sterling, WMS, or OMS platforms

- Cloud experience (Azure / AWS) with Informatica

- Experience working in BOT / GCC / large enterprise transformations

Soft Skills :

- Strong stakeholder communication and influence

- Ability to balance architecture rigor with delivery pragmatism

- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments

- Coaching and leadership mindset

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

- Informatica certifications (preferred)
