About the Role :

This is a senior role within the MCO architecture team.

The role is responsible for the evolution of the architecture across components of the MCOs solutions.

In this role, you will assess MCOs needs across the MCO Platform and solutions, working with and across Teams to evolve the architecture and design solutions to meet business needs.

Developing a strategy to evolve our solution architecture as needed to enable growth and expansion of our platform.

Working closely with the architecture, engineering and product management teams to ensure solutions match our current and future needs, and working within the constraints of our business and existing technology.

Responsibilities :

- Work with the architecture, engineering and product management teams to evolve the architecture and design solutions

- Design and review cloud architecture changes to ensure they meet of MCOs functional and non-functional requirements

- Contribute to the overall strategy and vision for the evolution of our solutions

- Work with the rest of the architecture team, to ensure the quality, performance, and overall suitability of the continued evolution of the MCO solutions

- Assess vendors/technologies against MCOs strategic needs

- Develop detailed architectures/designs for the implementation of the solutions

- Work with the engineering teams to enable them to effectively refine and implement the solution

- As a senior technical leader in the Hyderabad centre, work with VP and Managing Director of MCO India, leading the growth and development of this centre and its people

- Work to increase understanding of good engineering practices across the MCO organization, acting as a domain expert/thought leader to drive best practice.

About you :

You will be an experienced technologist, with proven experience designing and implementing enterprise SaaS solutions.

Youll have experience with multiple technologies and/or IaaS/PaaS cloud vendors.

Having spent 5+ working as an architect on enterprise SaaS applications, youll be skilled in communicating effectively across all levels in an organisation.

Experience :

- Minimum of 5 years as an architect, working on enterprise SaaS applications

- Minimum 10 years of experience with Java EE/OLTP solutions

- A degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent by experience

- Must have strong practical experience of designing and implementing business application solutions, across a range of stacks/vendors

- Must have hands on experience with monolithic Java EE solutions, ideally with experience in migration to componentised (Macro Services) architectures

- Must have experience working with AWS

- Must experience designing solutions to meet non-functional requirements and helping teams to address issues where non-functional issues arise.

- Must have strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to share technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences

- A self-starter, with a passion for technology and the drive to share your knowledge with the wider team

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

- Ideally have Oracle database experience

- Preferable with experience Business Process Engineering in organisations that are driven to constantly improve
