Role Overview :

As an Engineering Manager for Core Java, you will lead high-impact development teams in Bangalore and Goa to build and maintain mission-critical systems.

This role sits at the center of technical strategy and people leadership, requiring you to bridge the gap between complex business requirements and high-performance technical execution.

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including product managers and architects, to ensure the delivery of scalable, resilient software that directly influences the company's competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of high-performing engineers to deliver robust, scalable Java-based applications that meet stringent performance benchmarks.

- Architect and oversee the migration of monolithic systems to a sophisticated Microservices Architecture to improve system modularity and deployment velocity.

- Optimize complex backend processes by implementing advanced Multithreading and concurrency patterns to ensure high throughput and low latency.

- Collaborate with global stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment between engineering output and organizational goals.

- Establish and enforce rigorous code quality standards, design patterns, and testing protocols to minimize technical debt and maximize system reliability.

- Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from initial system design to production deployment, ensuring timely delivery and operational stability.

Required Skillset :

- Possess 10 to 14 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a deep specialization in Core Java and distributed systems.

- Demonstrate mastery in designing and maintaining large-scale Microservices Architecture, including expertise in containerization and orchestration tools.

- Exhibit strong proficiency in Multithreading and memory management, with a proven track record of tuning high-concurrency applications for optimal performance.

- Display exceptional leadership capabilities, with the ability to manage, coach, and inspire diverse engineering teams across multiple locations.

- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across the business.

- Hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design.

- Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, maintaining high levels of productivity and team cohesion across the Bangalore and Goa offices.
