Job Summary :

We are looking for a Senior Shopify Developer to lead the development of cutting-edge eCommerce solutions.

In this role, you will architect, build, and optimize high-performing Shopify storefronts, ensuring scalability, security, and exceptional user experiences.

You will serve as a technical mentor to junior developers, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and drive innovation by adopting the latest Shopify features and best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Technical Leadership: Own the end-to-end Shopify development lifecycle from architecture and coding to deployment and optimization.

- Theme Development & Customization: Architect and customize Shopify themes for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Feature Development: Lead the design and implementation of advanced features and custom functionalities.

- Integrations & APIs: Architect and oversee complex integrations with third-party systems, APIs, and payment gateways.

- Code Quality: Establish and enforce coding standards, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.

- Performance Optimization: Proactively monitor and enhance site performance, security, and SEO compliance.

- Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Provide advanced debugging expertise and resolve complex platform issues efficiently.

- Mentorship: Guide and support junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to deliver strategic eCommerce solutions.

- Innovation: Stay ahead of Shopify updates, emerging trends, and new technologies, integrating them into project strategies.

Qualifications & Experience :

- 5+ years of professional Shopify development, including Shopify Plus and large-scale eCommerce builds.

- Mastery of Liquid templating language and Shopify APIs.

- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.

- In-depth knowledge of Shopifys backend architecture and third-party integrations.

- Experience with Shopifys GraphQL API for custom solutions.

- eCommerce Best Practices: Strong understanding of UX, UI, conversion rate optimization, and SEO for eCommerce.

- Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.

- Leadership Skills: Proven track record in leading development projects, conducting code reviews, and mentoring teams.

- Problem-Solving: Exceptional debugging skills and the ability to architect scalable, maintainable solutions.

- Bonus Skills: Familiarity with headless Shopify builds, JAMstack, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, etc.
