Role Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Matillion Developer to join our data engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and optimising robust, scalable, and efficient ETL/ELT pipelines within the Matillion platform, integrating data from various sources into our cloud data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery). This role is crucial for enabling data-driven decision-making across the business.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing ETL/ELT solutions using Matillion ETL (ideally Matillion for [Specify your Cloud DW, e.g., Snowflake]).

- Strong proficiency in a Cloud Data Warehouse platform (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery).

- Expertise in SQL (writing complex queries, stored procedures, and optimization).

- Proven experience with cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Role Overview Matillion Developer :

- Design, build, test, and optimize complex ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion for seamless data transformation and movement.

- Integrate data from APIs, databases, cloud storage, and streaming sources while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

- Tune Matillion jobs and cloud data warehouse structures to improve load performance and query efficiency.

- Create and maintain clear documentation covering ETL workflows, data flows, and warehouse structures.

- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business teams to translate data needs into scalable technical solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues, pipeline failures, and performance bottlenecks while following governance, security, and version control best practices.
