We are looking for a Team Lead QA Automation to lead the quality engineering efforts for our Retail Pricing Solution.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java-based automation testing, UI and functional testing, test framework development, and Agile delivery.

You will lead a team of QA engineers, define automation strategies, ensure high-quality releases, and collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the QA Automation team in delivering high-quality software for enterprise retail pricing applications.

- Define and implement the automation testing strategy, standards, and best practices across multiple projects.

- Design, develop, review, and maintain scalable Java-based automation frameworks for UI, functional, and regression testing.

- Ensure comprehensive test coverage by developing automated test suites for critical business workflows.

- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Architects to understand business requirements and define effective test strategies.

- Review functional requirements and identify test scenarios, edge cases, and automation opportunities.

- Lead sprint planning, estimation, task allocation, and QA deliverables within Agile teams.

- Monitor automation execution, analyze failures, and ensure timely defect resolution.

- Mentor and coach QA engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster releases.

- Track QA metrics, automation coverage, defect leakage, and release quality KPIs.

- Drive continuous improvements in automation processes, framework architecture, and overall testing efficiency.

- Coordinate cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure a consistent user experience.

Mandatory Skills:

- 812 years of experience in Software Testing with at least 4+ years in Automation Testing.

- Strong experience in Java-based automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle).

- Experience in UI, Functional, Regression, and Integration Testing.

- Strong understanding of Automation Framework Design and Development.

- Experience with Git and version control practices.

- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong knowledge of defect management and test management tools.

- Excellent leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

- Experience with API Automation using REST Assured or Postman.

- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

- Knowledge of SQL for backend validation.

- Experience in the Retail or Pricing domain.

- Exposure to cloud platforms and containerized applications.
