Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Scaling Architect to lead the architecture evolution and scalability strategy of a multi-tenant SaaS ERP platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in enterprise architecture, distributed systems, cloud-native technologies, database performance engineering, and large-scale platform modernization.

This leadership role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on technical depth to drive platform scalability, architectural governance, performance optimization, and cloud transformation initiatives. The candidate will work closely with Engineering, Product Management, QA, DevOps, and Support teams to ensure the platform can support rapid business growth while maintaining reliability, performance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and execute the long-term scalability architecture roadmap for a multi-tenant SaaS ERP platform.

- Design and implement architectures capable of supporting millions of daily transactions with high availability and resilience.

- Establish scalability benchmarks, capacity planning frameworks, and platform readiness strategies to support future growth.

- Drive architectural decisions that enable the platform to scale efficiently without requiring major redesigns.

- Architect and implement cloud-native microservices solutions using .NET Core and modern distributed system patterns.

- Design event-driven architectures leveraging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, CQRS, Saga, and asynchronous messaging frameworks.

- Lead modernization initiatives to transform legacy monolithic applications into scalable, loosely coupled microservices.

- Ensure seamless migration and modernization with minimal impact on production systems and customer experience.

- Provide architectural leadership for SQL Server performance optimization.

- High availability and disaster recovery

- Define data architecture standards that support large-scale transactional workloads.

- Lead cloud transformation initiatives across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP environments.

- Design elastic, secure, highly available, and cost-efficient cloud architectures.

- Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and platform engineering best practices.

- Partner with DevOps teams to optimize deployment pipelines, operational efficiency, and cloud governance.

- Establish and govern enterprise architecture standards, design principles, and best practices.

- Lead architecture review boards, technical governance forums, and design approval processes.

- Define coding standards, architectural guidelines, and technical RFC (Request for Comments) frameworks.

- Ensure consistency, quality, maintainability, and scalability across engineering initiatives.

Define and implement enterprise observability frameworks including :

- Application Performance Monitoring (APM)

- Logging

- Monitoring

- Alerting

- Distributed tracing

- Establish SLA, SLO, and reliability engineering standards.

- Drive proactive performance monitoring and issue detection strategies.

- Provide technical leadership and direction to Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Support leadership teams.

- Mentor architects, engineering managers, and technical leads on scalable architecture and distributed systems design.

- Collaborate with Product Management and Business Leadership to align technology strategy with business objectives.

- Participate in customer escalations involving performance, scalability, and architectural challenges.

- Evaluate and drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, and related developer productivity platforms.

- Establish best practices for AI-enabled software development, testing, documentation, and operational support.

- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation for platform optimization and engineering efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 15 to 20 years of experience in Software Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Enterprise Platform Architecture.

- Proven experience architecting and scaling large SaaS products or enterprise platforms.

- Strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, and enterprise application architecture.

- Deep knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and event-driven design patterns.

Extensive experience with :

- Kafka

- RabbitMQ

- CQRS

- Saga Pattern

- Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

- Strong SQL Server expertise with performance tuning and database scalability experience.

- Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms.

- Strong understanding of observability, reliability engineering, and platform operations.

- Proven experience leading large technical teams and influencing engineering organizations.
