Masters India - Technical Lead - System Architecture

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership & Architecture :

- Own the end-to-end system architecture and technical design of scalable SaaS products.

- Drive architecture decisions, technology selection, and engineering best practices.

- Design highly available, secure, and scalable backend systems to support large-scale business operations.

- Ensure system performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Backend Development :

- Develop and maintain robust backend applications using Python, Django, and FastAPI.

- Build RESTful APIs and microservices architecture for enterprise-grade SaaS platforms.

- Work with distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architectures using Kafka and Celery.

- Optimize database performance and ensure efficient data management across PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

AI & LLM Integration :

- Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into production-grade systems.

- Build and enhance GenAI-powered features using LangChain, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and related AI frameworks.

- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement intelligent automation and AI-driven workflows.

- Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, and production-ready.

Cloud & Infrastructure :

- Work extensively with AWS cloud services for deployment, monitoring, and scaling applications.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and infrastructure optimization.

- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and system monitoring practices are in place.

Team Management & Collaboration :

- Lead, mentor, and guide engineering teams to ensure high-quality development standards.

- Conduct code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture reviews.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, business teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 7 to 12 years of backend development experience with strong technical leadership exposure.

Strong expertise in :

- Python

- Django

- FastAPI

- Kafka

- AWS Cloud Services

Hands-on experience with :

- PostgreSQL

- MySQL

- MongoDB

- Redis

- Celery

- Production-level experience in AI/LLM integrations.

Knowledge of :

- LangChain

- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)

- Generative AI concepts and implementations

- Strong understanding of system design, microservices, distributed systems, and scalable architecture.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in SaaS or B2B product-based companies.

- Exposure to compliance, fintech, taxation, or enterprise workflow systems.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Experience handling high-scale production systems and performance optimization.
