Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage MDM initiatives with a strong focus on Restricted Party Screening (RPS) to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and corporate policies
- Drive ERP transformation and migration projects, ensuring accurate, complete, and compliant master data transition
- Monitor, analyze, and report on MDM performance metrics, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions
- Conduct internal audits of master data processes to ensure compliance, quality, and audit-readiness
- Collaborate with global teams (India, EU, and other regions) to harmonize master data standards, processes, and governance frameworks
- Implement continuous process improvements in MDM operations, leveraging automation, standardization, and best practices
- Ensure alignment of MDM with business needs, compliance requirements, and digital transformation initiatives
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members while remaining hands-on with execution when required
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Compliance, etc.) to ensure
accurate and consistent master data across systems
- Act as the primary point of escalation for MDM-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and business continuity
Qualifications & Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; Masters degree preferred
- 8 - 12 years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM), with specific expertise in Restricted Party Screening (RPS)
- Proven track record in ERP transformation and migration projects (SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)
- Strong understanding of MDM governance, policies, and compliance frameworks
- Experience conducting internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk management in MDM processes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams
- Experience in leading global MDM teams, particularly with exposure to India/EU operations
- Proficiency in MDM tools, data quality management solutions, and reporting/BI platforms
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with global trade compliance systems and integration with MDM/RPS
- Knowledge of data security, GDPR, and other regulatory compliance frameworks
- Hands-on expertise with automation and AI/ML-driven solutions for MDM improvements
- Certification in MDM, Data Governance, or ERP platforms (e.g., SAP MDG, Oracle MDM)
