Massil Technologies - Mainframe Administrator

Good to Have :

- Experience with TWS/OPC Scheduler

- Domain knowledge or project experience in Consumer/Retail/Customer-facing systems

Job Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe programs using IDMS, Db2, VSAM, and Easytrieve.

- Design and execute batch jobs using JCL, ensuring efficient and timely processing.

- Develop and support CICS online transactions for high-volume consumer-facing applications.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust mainframe solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve defects or production issues in a timely manner.

- Optimize mainframe applications for performance and scalability.

- Coordinate with QA and operations teams for deployments and testing support.

- Work with scheduling tools like TWS/OPC to manage job workflows (if applicable).

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Proven ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.

- Prior experience in consumer-focused environments is a plus.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
