We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer / DevOps Team Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will serve as the technical leader for an existing DevOps team responsible for cloud platform automation, CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure reliability, performance optimization, and operational excellence for cloud-hosted applications.

In this role, you will lead, mentor, and guide a team of engineers while remaining hands-on in designing and managing our AWS-based infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with software engineering, system architecture, and product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient systems. This position requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive DevOps best practices across the engineering lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure :

- Architect, design, and maintain scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure.

- Own and drive end-to-end infrastructure projects from planning to production deployment.

- Build and manage production environments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.

Automation & CI/CD :

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery.

- Build and deploy automation for applications running on Kubernetes, Docker, and VM-based systems in AWS.

- Implement automation using tools like Terraform and Ansible to orchestrate infrastructure and environment setup.

Operations & Monitoring :

- Perform system monitoring, logging, and analytics to ensure performance, reliability, and availability.

- Develop scripts for deployment, troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational automation.

- Establish DevOps practices across the engineering, deployment, and operations lifecycle.

Collaboration & Support :

- Work closely with Software Engineers, System Architects, Product Managers, and System Administrators to meet environment and service automation needs.

- Ensure alignment with organizational standards, project goals, and delivery timelines.

Leadership & Mentorship :

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level DevOps engineers.

- Conduct regular code and process reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.

- Lead team training sessions on technologies, tools, and platform enhancements.

- Oversee team activities and contribute to performance reviews and skill development.

Security & Compliance :

- Ensure compliance with company information security policies.

- Report and address any security incidents related to infrastructure or DevOps processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 712 years of hands-on DevOps experience, with at least 24 years in a team lead or technical leadership role.

- Strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture, deployment, and operations.

- Proven experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Shell).

- Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK stack).

- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues.

- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
