Techincal Engagement Manager(TEM) JD
Role Summary :
The Technical Engagement Manager (TEM) will serve as the face of MARS to both new and existing customers. This senior role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, customer engagement, and delivery excellence. The TEM will lead customer interactions, pitch and solution presentations, and project planning while ensuring alignment with delivery and revenue goals. The ideal candidate will act as the single point of contact for all engagements, working closely with the leadership team to drive project success and business growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement :
Act as the first line of contact and relationship manager for new and existing clients globally. Represent MARS in customer meetings, strategy sessions, and technical discussions. Drive stakeholder satisfaction by ensuring a consultative and proactive approach.
Pre-Sales & Solutioning :
Lead customer discovery sessions and propose tailored solutions aligned with client needs. Prepare and present compelling pitch decks, demos, and solution proposals. Collaborate with internal teams to estimate efforts, finalize SOWs, and close deals.
Technical Leadership :
Provide oversight on technology choices, architecture, and solution feasibility. Bring in expertise in Full-Stack Development, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and modern frameworks. Strong understanding of AI/ML tools and their application in enterprise solutions.
Project Planning & Execution Oversight :
Own project planning, resourcing, budgeting, and execution strategies. Ensure project delivery aligns with customer expectations, quality standards, and timelines. Proactively manage risks and ensure mitigation plans are in place.
Revenue & Delivery Focused Execution :
Align delivery excellence with revenue growth targets. Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and work with sales to expand customer engagement. Ensure profitability through effective scope management and cost controls.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Coordinate with delivery, sales, and leadership teams to ensure project alignment and business goals. Participate in strategic planning, account reviews, and roadmap discussions. Help build reusable solution assets and contribute to practice growth.
Desired Skills and Qualifications :
- 15-20 years of experience in technology services with strong exposure to global customer engagement.
- Proven track record in technical pre-sales, solutioning, project planning, and delivery management.
- Hands-on experience in full-stack development, AI/ML technologies, and cloud architecture.
- Demonstrated experience in revenue-focused delivery and strategic account management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with international customers (especially US/EU clients); international stints is a must.
- US B1/B2 visa is a great plus.
- Location : Hyderabad (on-site role with client-facing responsibilities).
