The ideal candidate is a hybrid Marketing Operations leader and commercial owner who can seamlessly balance hands-on Marketo expertise with strategic sourcing, vendor negotiation, and supplier performance management.

What Makes Them a Strong Fit :


- Marketo Certified Expert who has personally owned and administered Marketo in a complex B2B environment.

- Brings deep functional understanding of marketing automation, lead lifecycle management, attribution, and data governance.

- Has direct experience sourcing, negotiating, and managing Marketing Technology vendors, not just using the tools.

- Understands how Martech investments drive pipeline, revenue, and ROI, and can articulate that value in commercial discussions.

- Comfortable acting as the single point of accountability between Marketing, Sales Ops, Procurement, Legal, and Finance.

Experience Snapshot :


- 8- 12+ years of overall experience across :

1. Marketing Operations / Marketing Automation.

2. Martech vendor management or procurement for marketing categories.

- Hands-on integration experience with :

1. Marketo + Salesforce (SFDC).

2. ZoomInfo, ON24, Cvent, 6sense, LeanData (or equivalent tools).

- Proven track record of :

1. Delivering cost savings and value optimization on Martech spend (up to $5M).

2. Managing multiple global vendors and parallel initiatives.

3. Driving operational efficiency while maintaining marketing agility.

- Marketing Automation Excellence - advanced Marketo configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.

- Commercial & Contract Acumen - negotiating NDAs, SOWs, renewals, SLAs, and pricing models.

- Supplier Performance Management - KPI tracking, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.

- Stakeholder Influence - able to challenge, align, and guide senior marketing and procurement stakeholders.

- Data-Driven Decision Making - uses spend analysis, performance metrics, and market benchmarks.
