Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mohali. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle. Your work will directly impact the user experience by ensuring that our products are delivered with high quality and meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement robust automation test scripts using Selenium and Java to validate software functionality and performance for various applications.

- Develop and maintain automated API tests using REST Assured and Postman to ensure the reliability and accuracy of our APIs for internal and external users.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and report them effectively to the development team for timely resolution.

- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and design effective test strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage for new features and enhancements.

- Perform database testing to validate data integrity and accuracy, ensuring that data is stored and retrieved correctly for all applications.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our automation framework and testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for the entire QA team.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.

- Proven expertise in API testing using REST Assured and Postman.

- Strong understanding of database testing concepts and experience with SQL.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot software defects effectively.

- Ability to communicate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment in Mohali.
