Role : System Test Engineer Compass Cash Center

Location : Gurgaon

Summary

You as a System Test Engineer are responsible for testing of Compass Cash Center-Digital Systems product end to end, a market-leading cash center workflow product used by banks and cash-in-transit businesses globally. The role involves all aspects of software test planning, preparation, execution, and reporting on testing activities for assigned products and solutions. You will work in a scrum team and collaborate with colleagues located in India and Germany.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement effective test strategies based on thorough analysis of requirements and raise synergies with lower-level test stages along the test pyramid.

- Design, create, and maintain comprehensive test artifacts including test plans, test cases, and coverage matrices.

- Execute integration, system, regression, and acceptance tests to validate software functionality and ensure quality including non-functional aspects like security, performance and scalability.

- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders for test planning and to achieve complete and accurate test coverage.

- Configure test environments and manage software deployments as required.

- Document test results, log defects, and contribute actively to continuous process improvement efforts.

- Conduct clear and concise demos for project management teams and clients.

- Ensure adherence to defined quality standards and testing processes.

Qualification

B. Tech or Bachelors in computer science or any other relevant field (Required)

M. Tech or Masters in any other relevant field (Preferred)

Years of Experience Experience In

5+ years of experience Experience in system testing software applications, including planning, strategy development, and execution.

Required Skills

- Experience in testing transactional software systems, particularly in the financial or banking sector.

- Strong understanding of system and integration testing with a focus on requirement validation and functional coverage.

- Experience with UI and API testing.

- Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems as relevant to test execution and analysis.

- Expertise to write complex SQL queries for data validation and business logic verification.

- Analytical and debugging skills, as well as basic programming skills in Java or C# and the ability to analyze complex issues together with development teams is a plus.

- Test Engineer Certification such as CSTE or ISTQB is preferred.

- Understanding of Scrum and Kanban.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a multicultural setup to collaborate across teams effectively.

- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, structured environment.
