Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement detailed test plans and strategies to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.

- Identify and document test scenarios, test cases, and test data to validate functionality, performance, and security.

- Execute manual tests, identify defects, and ensure their resolution in collaboration with development teams.

- Conduct regression testing to validate new code changes and ensure existing functionality remains intact.

- Lead and manage the manual testing process, including planning, execution, and reporting.

- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand project goals.

- Identify and document defects, track issues, and verify fixes through thorough retesting.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members and promote best testing practices.

- Perform risk assessments to prioritize testing efforts and ensure critical functionalities are thoroughly tested.

- Continuously analyze and improve testing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

- Communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders, providing insights for decision-making.

- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of QA testers, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.

- Evaluate and enhance QA processes, incorporating best practices and tools to improve efficiency.

- Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and testing guidelines.

- Analyze test results, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with project timelines and deliverables.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- 5+ years of experience in manual testing

- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and processes

- Experience working with various testing tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, and Selenium

- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

- Excellent communication and analytical skills
