Job Description
Role Overview :
We are hiring a Manual Tester with experience in functional, regression, and API testing.
The candidate will ensure quality standards for enterprise applications through structured testing practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create and execute test cases across web, API, and mobile platforms.
- Perform API testing with Postman and validate backend responses.
- Identify, log, and track bugs using Jira or similar tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
- Write SQL queries for database validation.
- Document test scenarios, test reports, and maintain traceability.
Must-Have Skills :
- Manual Testing (functional, regression, usability).
- Tools : Jira, Postman.
- Database : SQL queries for validation.
- Agile/Scrum methodology understanding.
Nice-to-Have :
- Basic exposure to automation testing (Selenium, Cypress).
- Familiarity with API automation frameworks.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 46 years of software testing experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
