Manual QA (Testing)

Experience : 8 to 15 years

Location : Remote

We are seeking an experienced Manual QA Tester with strong Telecom domain knowledge and hands-on expertise in BRM testing. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of order management flows, billing systems, and end-to-end testing across telecom BSS applications. This role requires strong testing fundamentals, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform manual testing for telecom applications with a strong focus on BSS systems

- Validate order management flows and end-to-end scenarios across telecom platforms

- Test BRM functionalities including Subscription Management, Billing, Invoicing, Charging, and Rating

- Conduct thorough testing of BRM schemas and utilities

- Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business and functional requirements

- Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects with clear reproduction steps

- Track and manage defects using JIRA

- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and SOAP UI

- Participate in requirement reviews, test planning, and test status reporting

- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders

- Ensure adherence to the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and quality standards

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- 8 to 15 years of experience in Manual Testing within the Telecom domain

- Strong understanding of Order Management workflows

- Prior experience in RODOD / DBX implementations

- Hands-on experience with telecom platforms such as :

a. Siebel / OAP

b. AIA / OEP

c. OSM

d. UIM

e. ASAP

- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in BRM testing

- Strong expertise in Subscription Management, Billing, Invoicing, Charging, and Rating

- Very strong understanding of BRM schema and utilities

- Solid knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

- Hands-on experience in test case preparation, execution, and defect tracking

- Experience using JIRA for defect management

- Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman and SOAP UI
