Manager - Site Reliability Engineering

This role blends application development with infrastructure engineering, emphasizing system reliability, automation, and performance optimization. You will be responsible for building resilient systems and reducing operational overhead through automation and modern engineering practices.

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and highly available infrastructure

- Ensure system reliability, uptime, and performance across production environments

- Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to streamline operational processes

- Collaborate with development teams to improve application architecture and deployment pipelines

- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable releases

- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for provisioning and configuration

- Monitor systems, identify bottlenecks, and perform root cause analysis for incidents

- Optimize system performance through scalability planning and resource management

- Work on full stack components where needed, contributing to application development and integration

- Establish and enforce best practices for reliability, monitoring, and incident response

Required Candidate Profile :

- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python or Go

- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef

- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and system administration

- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools

- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and ensure high availability

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.)

- Familiarity with security best practices in cloud and infrastructure

- Background in full stack development (frontend + backend) is an added advantage

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
