Position Summary :

We are seeking a Manager / Senior Manager SAP FICO to lead the design, development, and delivery of SAP Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) solutions across global business units. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in SAP FICO, including Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, strong domain understanding of finance and accounting processes, and hands-on experience in S/4HANA implementations.

This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and IT, managing project teams, ensuring delivery excellence, and driving process transformation aligned with organizational goals.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects ensuring timely delivery and adherence to best practices.

- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP FI/CO functional designs and configurations.

- Drive solution design workshops with business users and global stakeholders to align SAP solutions with business objectives.

- Provide expert-level guidance on integration between FI, CO, MM, SD, and PP modules.

- Ensure data integrity, system performance, and compliance with finance and audit standards.

- Manage project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management activities.

- Lead a team of SAP consultants, ensuring technical quality and functional consistency in deliverables.

- Oversee testing (unit, integration, UAT) and ensure smooth cutover and post-go-live support.

- Work closely with finance leadership to identify process improvement opportunities leveraging SAP best practices.

- Develop and maintain project documentation, configuration guides, and training materials.

- Mentor and coach team members to strengthen functional and consulting capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills :

Must-Have Skills :

- 12+ years of total experience with at least 8+ years of hands-on SAP FICO implementation and support experience.

- Expertise in core SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Banking, Taxation) and CO (Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA) modules.

- Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), and Order to Cash (O2C).

- Experience in S/4HANA Finance implementation or migration projects.

- Solid understanding of integration points between FI/CO and other modules (MM, SD, PP).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects in global environments.

- Excellent stakeholder communication, presentation, and client engagement skills.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- SAP Certification in FI/CO or S/4HANA Finance.

- Working knowledge of SAP Group Reporting, Central Finance, or SAP Analytics Cloud.

- Familiarity with Agile / SAP Activate methodologies.

- Exposure to cloud-based solutions and automation tools (RPA, AI-driven analytics) in finance transformation.

- Domain background in Manufacturing, BFSI, or Retail industries.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Information Technology.

- MBA (Finance) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification preferred.

- SAP Certified Application Professional FI/CO or S/4HANA Finance certification is a plus.
