Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) professional with a strong background in Business Process Architecture to join our team as a Business Architect / Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the current business landscape, identifying improvement opportunities, and defining end-to-end SAP-enabled business solutions that drive measurable value. You will work closely with business stakeholders and project teams to translate strategic objectives into scalable business architectures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will combine strong SAP SD expertise with excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills to guide solution delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

- Lead current state assessments to understand existing business processes, challenges, and improvement areas within the Sales and Distribution domain.

- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define high-level business requirements and develop solution architectures aligned with business objectives.

- Design and document end-to-end business processes within SAP SD, ensuring consistency and integration across related modules such as MM and PP.

- Define and develop business cases to support strategic initiatives, including ROI analysis, benefit realization, and implementation planning.

- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for SAP SD and related solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Logistics, Production, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and alignment of business processes.

- Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise (SME) in SAP SD, influencing strategic decisions and solution direction.

- Lead process improvement workshops and design sessions to streamline operations and enhance business performance.

- Support the implementation, testing, and deployment of SAP SD solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational standards.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to project teams, fostering knowledge sharing and building SAP SD capability within the organization.

- Ensure comprehensive documentation of business requirements, solution designs, and process flows for ongoing reference and governance.

- Stay updated on SAP innovations and industry best practices, evaluating their potential to enhance existing business processes.

Technical & Professional Skills :

Must-Have :

- Strong functional expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) with hands-on experience in order-to-cash (O2C), pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management processes.

- Proven experience in Business Process Architecture, process design, and optimization across sales and logistics functions.

- Ability to lead business discussions, analyze requirements, and define SAP-based solutions.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to solution design.

Good-to-Have :

- Knowledge of related SAP modules such as Material Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) for end-to-end process integration.

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments, including Fiori apps and new data models.

- Understanding of industry best practices and the ability to tailor SAP SD solutions to meet unique business needs.

Additional Skills :

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making.

- Experience in preparing and presenting business cases and executive-level reports.

- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional, global project environments.

- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).

Education & Experience :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 8 - 15 years of experience in SAP SD, including at least 3 - 5 years in a business architect or managerial role.

- Hands-on experience in end-to-end SAP SD implementations, upgrades, or rollouts.

- SAP Certification in SD or related modules preferred.
