Role Overview :

We are seeking an innovative and highly skilled Manager of Prompt Engineering to lead prompt design and optimization for AI-driven solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the performance of AI agents by developing precise, contextual, and logic-driven prompts that align with operational use cases and business objectives. You will collaborate closely with Operations, AI, and cross-functional teams to support digital transformation initiatives and ensure that AI systems deliver accurate, reliable, and efficient outcomes for clients.

This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of AI model behavior, prompt optimization techniques, data-driven improvement, and scalable documentation practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prompt Development & Optimization :

- Draft high-quality prompts, instructions, and templates that guide AI agents to deliver accurate, relevant, and business-appropriate responses.

- Embed logical structures, contextual cues, domain knowledge, and workflow requirements within prompts to ensure high-quality outputs.

- Apply best practices in prompt tuning, context management, chain-of-thought guidance, and multi-step reasoning.

2. Continuous Testing & Refinement :

- Design test scenarios that reflect real-world operational use cases for evaluating prompt effectiveness.

- Conduct rigorous testing of prompts across varied datasets, user queries, and business processes.

- Iterate prompts based on model behavior, performance metrics, and feedback from stakeholders to maximize accuracy and efficiency.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Work closely with Operations, AI Engineering, Product, and Delivery teams to gather requirements, understand process workflows, and translate them into effective prompt strategies.

- Participate in solution design discussions to ensure AI capabilities align with overall business and client objectives.

- Provide subject-matter expertise on prompt engineering best practices to support internal teams.

4. Performance Monitoring & Improvement :

- Monitor AI agent performance by analyzing interaction logs, accuracy reports, error patterns, and user feedback.

- Identify areas where prompts need adjustments, refinement, or redesign to address inconsistencies or gaps.

- Use performance data to develop continuous improvement frameworks for prompt optimization.

5. Documentation & Knowledge Management :

- Develop comprehensive documentation for prompt libraries, including use cases, logic structures, version controls, and performance notes.

- Create reusable prompt modules, pattern libraries, and frameworks to support scalability across multiple clients and projects.

- Ensure all documentation is structured for easy reference, collaboration, and future enhancements.

6. Innovation & Strategic Contribution :

- Stay updated on advancements in AI, LLMs, prompt engineering techniques, and tools.

- Propose innovative solutions, frameworks, and methodologies to strengthen AI-driven digital transformation initiatives.

- Support training sessions, internal workshops, and capability-building activities for prompt engineering practices.

Qualifications We Seek in You :

Minimum Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience in prompt engineering, conversational design, NLP workflows, or roles involving AI-driven content generation.

- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including AI, Operations, Product, and Delivery.

- Familiarity with machine learning models (especially LLMs), AI behavior, and their integration into business operations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills :

- Experience in digital transformation, automation, or AI implementation projects.

- Knowledge of prompt evaluation metrics, model tuning approaches, and LLM-based workflow design.

- Ability to translate complex business processes into structured AI prompts and guidelines.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience managing prompt libraries, datasets, or AI documentation repositories.

- Exposure to Python, prompt testing tools, or AI orchestration platforms is a plus.
