About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead and oversee infrastructure operations for our Hyderabad location. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical leadership, hands-on operational expertise, and a strategic mindset to manage mission-critical IT environments. This role requires close collaboration with global teams and the ability to run high-availability IT operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Infrastructure & Operations Management :
- Lead end-to-end IT operations covering NOC, Data Center, Audio-Visual (AV), Unified Communications (UC), and IT Finance functions.
- Ensure high availability and performance of all infrastructure components, including network, compute, storage, and AV systems.
- Oversee daily operations of 247 NOC, ensuring timely detection, escalation, and resolution of incidents.
Monitoring, Incident Response & Service Delivery :
- Drive operational excellence through robust monitoring systems (e.g., METIS or similar alerting platforms).
- Establish and maintain incident response processes aligned with industry best practices.
- Ensure service-level compliance, effective problem management, and continuous process optimization.
Compliance, Budgeting & Vendor Management :
- Manage STPI/SEZ compliance, asset inventory, and data center budgeting.
- Oversee vendor and contract management for infrastructure, network links, AV systems, and service providers.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate cost-effective service agreements.
Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration :
- Partner closely with global teams such as SRE, AV, SysTech, Infrastructure & Engineering to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
- Support global operational initiatives, technology rollouts, and infrastructure transformation programs.
Leadership & Team Management :
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing cross-functional IT operations teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic direction and ensure team readiness for 247 operational support.
Process & Quality Management :
- Implement and maintain ITSM best practices; champion ITIL-based process improvements.
- Drive standardization, documentation, SOP creation, and lifecycle management of IT systems.
Must-Have Qualifications :
- 10-15 years of experience in IT operations and infrastructure management within large or global organizations.
- Proven leadership across NOC, DC, AV, UC, and IT Finance functions.
- Strong expertise in project management, incident management, service delivery, and operational optimization.
- Demonstrated management of STPI/SEZ compliance, DC inventory, budgets, vendor/contract governance, and network link administration.
- Hands-on experience running 247 NOC operations, including monitoring and alerting platforms.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global engineering teams.
- Excellent people management, stakeholder communication, and vendor interfacing skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL, ITSM frameworks, and industry best practices; ITIL or PMP certification preferred.
Good to Have :
- Experience in financial services, including investment banking, fintech, asset management, or high-tech product companies.
- Exposure to automation for IT operations, workflows, or infrastructure monitoring.
- Experience managing multi-location/global teams and driving enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.
