Position Overview :

What Youll Do :

Strategic & Governance :

- Define and execute the information security strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Own security policies, standards, and frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF).

- Lead risk assessments, threat modelling, and security architecture reviews.

- Drive compliance programs (data residency, regulatory requirements).

- Manage security budgets and vendor relationships.

Operational :

- Oversee identity & access management (IAM), vulnerability management, and incident response.

- Establish and maintain security monitoring, alerting, and response playbooks.

- Lead security reviews for new technologies, integrations, and PoCs.

- Ensure security SLAs and KPIs are met across the organization.

Cross-Functional :

- Partner with Engineering, Cloud, IT, and Product teams to embed security into SDLC.

- Advise on data protection, encryption, and privacy controls.

- Represent security in architecture review boards and change advisory processes.

Were Excited To Learn More About You :

- Deep understanding of at least 2 - 3 security domains (IAM, cloud security, application security, data protection).

- Ability to review architecture decisions and threat models at a technical level.

- Familiarity with cloud-native security (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern identity stacks (Okta, Entra, PAM/PIM).

- Hands-on experience with security tooling (SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability scanners, EDR).

- Understanding of automation and scripting for security operations (Python, Tines, etc.).

- Data-driven approach to measuring security posture and risk reduction.

Qualifications & Skills :

- 8 - 12+ years in information security, with 3 - 5+ years in a leadership/management role.

- Track record of building or scaling a security team.

- Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy environments.

Education :

- Bachelor's in CS, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.

- Master's (nice-to-have, not essential).
