Overview :

The Manager for AI & ML, Data Science in the MRO avia- on sector will be responsible for leveraging advanced data analy- cs, machine learning, and AI techniques to enhance maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes. The role requires a good understanding of Aircra- maintenance, opera- ons and data-driven decision-making to op- mize MRO management, improve opera- onal efficiency, and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities :

AI & ML Implementation :

- Develop and implement AI and ML models for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection,
and asset op- miza- on in the MRO processes.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI/ML solu- ons into exis- ng systems and
workflows.

Data Analytics & Insights :

- Analyse large datasets from various sources (e.g., sensor data, maintenance records) to
extract actionable insights.

- Use advanced statical and machine learning techniques to predict equipment failures, optimize maintenance schedules, and improve overall fleet performance.

Knowledge of Aircrati Maintenance :

- Understanding the intricacies of aircra- systems, maintenance schedules, and regulatory requirements.

Data-Driven Decision Making :

- Utilizing data analytics, predictive maintenance, and other technologies to make informed
decisions.

Optimization of HMV :

- Streamlining processes to reduce down- me and costs while maintaining high safety and
quality standards.

Operational Efficiency :

- Improving workflows, resource allocation, and overall maintenance operations.

- Sustainable Cost Reductions :

- Implementing strategies that not only cut costs but also ensure long-term sustainability.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, opera- ons, procurement,
stores, production, planning to align AI/ML initiatives with business goals.

- Communicate complex data insights and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders,
providing clear recommendations.

Data Governance & Quality :

- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and governance standards are maintained across all AI/ML
projects.

- Develop data pipelines and workflows that ensure the seamless integra- on of AI/ML
solutions with business operations.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in AI, ML, and data science, applying
new methodologies to enhance MRO processes.

- Foster a culture of con- nuous improvement and innova- on within the data science team.

Key skill set :

- Should have overall experience of 10+ years and 5+ years very strong in driving the projects related AI ML, Azure / AWS analytics.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, R, or SQL or any advanced Database

- Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data tools.

- Experience with cloud pla- forms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data technologies is advantageous.

- Strong vendor management, inter department co-ordina- on within and outside of organization.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's or Master's of Engineering / Technology in AI & ML or Computer Science or IT.

- Advanced Diploma / PG Diploma in AI/ML or Data Science
