Manager - Artificial Intelligence

Position Overview :

The Manager AI will be responsible for leading and managing a team of AI developers, data scientists, and engineers to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered software solutions.

This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Team Leadership :

- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of Agentic AI/AI/ML professionals.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

- Set clear goals and expectations, and monitor team performance.

AI Strategy :

- Collaborate with senior management to define the company's AI strategy and roadmap.

- Identify opportunities for AI integration and expansion across various products & services.

Project Management :

- Plan, prioritize, and oversee the execution of Agentic AI / Gen_AI / AI / ML projects from conception to completion.

- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

- Monitor project progress and resolve issues as they arise.

Technical Expertise :

- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Agentic AI /Gen AI/ AI and Machine learning.

- Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team.

- Participate in hands-on development and problem-solving when necessary.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and software engineers, to integrate AI solutions into software products.

- Foster collaboration and communication between AI and software development teams.

Quality Assurance :

- Ensure the quality and accuracy of AI models and algorithms.

- Implement best practices for testing and validation of AI systems.

Resource Management :

- Manage resources effectively, including budget allocation and staffing.

- Recruit, train, and develop AI team members.

Documentation and Reporting :

- Maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation.

- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred) with minimum 10 years experience.

- Proven experience in AI development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.

- Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role.

- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and programming languages (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

- Excellent project management and organizational skills.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

- Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) is a plus.

- Experience with cloud platforms and deployment of AI models is a plus
