Mainframe Transformation Engineer - z/OS

Description :

- Develop and execute a modernization strategy for Mainframe infrastructure to drive innovation, automation, productivity, and efficiency. This includes z/OS and ISV upgrades, as well as the integration of AIOps.

- Provide expert guidance and support to Sysprogs on Mainframe modernization initiatives, leveraging tools such as Ansible, Python, z/OSMF, WatsonX for z, and AIOps.

- Utilize deep Mainframe architecture expertise to identify, assess, and prioritize modernization opportunities.

- Collaborate with Sysprogs, SDMs, vendors, and clients to enhance utilization of Mainframe capabilities and services.

- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor strategies, and market developments to strengthen Mainframe modernization initiatives and maintain a competitive advantage.

Required Expertise :

- 10+ years of technical expertise as a z/OS SysProg with a focus on Mainframe transformation and generative AI.

- Skilled in Ansible and Python for Mainframe modernization.

- Deep knowledge of z/OS and ISV upgrade processes using z/OSMF.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

- Highly adaptable and effective in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

- Certifications in Mainframe or related technologies.

- Exposure to global environments and diverse client ecosystems.
