About the Role :

We are looking for skilled Mainframe Developers with strong expertise in COBOL and hands-on experience in IDMS or VSAM environments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing mainframe-based applications that support critical business functions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using COBOL, IDMS, and VSAM.

- Analyze existing systems and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.

- Perform impact analysis, debugging, and performance tuning of mainframe programs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

- Provide production support and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.

Requirements :

- 5 to 7 years of experience in Mainframe application development and support.

- Strong programming skills in COBOL, with solid experience in IDMS and/or VSAM.

- Knowledge of JCL, DB2, and CICS will be an added advantage.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
