Role : Mainframe Assembler Developer

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Assembler Developer with strong skills in IBM mainframe environments and the C programming language.

You will work closely with global development teams and report directly to company directors.

This role requires technical expertise, leadership ability, and the flexibility to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preference will be given to candidates eligible for a US business visa, as some travel may be required for in-person client or team meetings.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain applications in IBM Z/OS Assembler, C/C++, COBOL, and JCL.

- Work in IBM mainframe environments including Z/OS (MVS), SysPlex, CICS, DB2, JES, USS, and WebSphere.

- Support Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions and output management systems.

- Participate in onsite-offshore coordination, project management, and client relationship management.

- Lead and mentor global development teams, manage timelines, resolve conflicts, and ensure successful delivery.

- Participate in CMOD migration and other content/document management initiatives.

- Create and deliver presentations, project plans, and documentation using Microsoft Office tools (Project, PowerPoint, Excel).

- Adhere to CMMi SDLC processes and best practices.

Must-Have Qualifications :

- 5+ years of development experience in enterprise-level systems.

- Strong hands-on experience in IBM Z/OS Assembler and C programming.

- Solid knowledge of COBOL, DB2, JCL, and mainframe batch processing.

- Deep understanding of IBM mainframe systems, including CICS, USS, and WebSphere.

- Experience with IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) and related migration processes.

- Ability to manage multiple projects with cross-functional collaboration.

- Proven client-facing communication skills and internal team leadership.

- Strong knowledge of project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and onsite-offshore models.

Nice-to-Have :

- Familiarity with ASG Mobius, IBM CMOD, and Z/OS systems.

- Experience in mainframe job scheduling and batch operations.

- US visa eligibility for occasional travel.
