Job Description

Key Responsibilities :


- PMO Governance & Frameworks


- Define, implement, and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and templates.


- Ensure compliance with organizational PMO processes and IT governance policies.


- Monitor adherence to project lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).


Project Portfolio Management (PPM) :


- Support portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource allocation.


- Track and report on portfolio performance, KPIs, risks, and dependencies.


- Facilitate portfolio review meetings and provide insights for decision-making.


Reporting & Analytics :


- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reports for leadership on project progress, risks, and financials.


- Provide visibility into project health using tools like MS Project, JIRA, ServiceNow, or equivalent.


- Conduct variance analysis on schedules, budgets, and benefits realization.


Stakeholder Management :


- Partner with IT leadership, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure project alignment.


- Act as a central point of communication for IT project governance.


- Support change management activities to drive adoption of PMO practices.


Continuous Improvement :


- Identify gaps in current processes and recommend enhancements.


- Provide training and coaching on project management best practices.


- Support audits, compliance checks, and process maturity assessments.


Qualifications :


Education & Experience :


- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.


- 5+ years of experience in IT project management or PMO functions.


- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, SAFe).


Skills & Competencies :


- Proficiency with project/portfolio management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Clarity, JIRA, or similar).


- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.


- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.


Preferred Certifications :


- PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or SAFe certifications.


- ITIL Foundation or COBIT certification (a plus).
