Role Overview :
We are seeking experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter professionals to join our team as Technical Leads and Developers. The role involves hands-on development, configuration, and support of Guidewire PolicyCenter (version 8.0 or higher), along with collaboration across technical and business teams to deliver high-quality insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, configure, and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter (8.0 or higher) based on business requirements
- Participate in end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and support of Guidewire applications
- Work on PolicyCenter modules, including integration with rating and audit functionalities
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and Guidewire guidelines
- Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution and root-cause analysis
- For Technical Lead roles, provide technical guidance, mentoring, and oversight to junior developers
- Ensure compliance with audit processes and support regulatory or compliance-related requirements as needed
Required Skills :
- Guidewire PolicyCenter : Minimum 2 years of hands-on development experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter version 8.0 or higher
- SQL : Strong proficiency in SQL is essential
- Rating Experience : Experience with rating engines and rating algorithms is an added advantage
- Audit Experience : Exposure to audit processes and compliance-related functionality is valuable
- Experience working across Guidewires suite of products is highly desirable
Preferred Qualifications :
- Strong understanding of insurance domain concepts
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders
