Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Magento Architect to lead the architectural vision, design, and technical strategy of our enterprise-level eCommerce platforms.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, technology leaders, and cross-functional teams to ensure the platforms scalability, security, performance, and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Strategy :

- Establish and maintain subject matter expertise across omnichannel platforms, including business, information, and technical architectures.

- Collaborate with business and IT leadership to understand core needs, strategic vision, and long-term technology roadmap.

- Align architectural decisions with enterprise mission, values, and standards.

- Collaborate with solution architects and technical leaders to define principles, patterns, and technical standards.

Technical Leadership :

- Lead or participate in architectural spikes and proof-of-concepts to validate design approaches.

- Drive full-stack platform and integration design across security, performance, scalability, resilience, and best practices.

- Evaluate and recommend new technology tools, frameworks, and acquisitions.

- Identify optimization opportunities across domains, focusing on reducing complexity, technical debt, and bottlenecks.

Platform Engineering & Integration :

- Champion DevSecOps principles including CI/CD, automation, environment provisioning, and secure coding practices.

- Ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems including CRM, ERP, WMS, and other business platforms.

- Work with identity and access management frameworks ensuring application security and compliance.

Performance & Optimization :

- Troubleshoot and optimize application, data, and integration performance (caching, monitoring, tracing, logging).

- Design and optimize for multi-country, multi-language, multi-currency, and multi-brand experiences.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years as a Magento Architect or Technical Lead on enterprise-class eCommerce platforms.

- Strong expertise in Magento 2, PHP, Adobe Commerce, and enterprise-grade architectural patterns.

- Deep experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and UI/MVC frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and modern integration approaches.

- Experience with both relational (MySQL) and unstructured (MongoDB, Data Lakes) data repositories.

- Expertise in cloud-hosted deployment environments and CI/CD automation.

- Experience using Figma and Storybook for design and UI component documentation.

- Familiarity with message-based pub/sub architectures and MuleSoft integrations.

- Strong knowledge of CDNs like Cloudflare, Imperva, or Akamai.

- Proven experience delivering global eCommerce experiences (languages, currencies, countries).

- Ability to accurately estimate effort, complexity, and cost of technical solutions.
